Rejoice In The Mundane!
Last week I got this note from TUT in my inbox (if you don’t get TUT already you can sign up here).
Until the really “great” stuff comes along, Maria, do the not-so-great stuff. The not-so-great stuff always leads to the great stuff. Whereas doing nothing pretty much leads to nowhere.
And do it with a passion – The Universe
This is such a great reminder to delight in the every day things of life. No life isn’t always sparkly and new and exciting and awe inspiring. Sometimes it seems like a lot of same old stuff. If you can find joy in that same old stuff, find pleasure in doing laundry or washing dishes or answering that 738th email then you’ll open yourself up to even better things.
The bottom line is – appreciation begets appreciation and joy begets joy. Rejoice in where you are and invariably you’ll find more and more to rejoice in every day. Which leads to better experiences!
Excuse me while I have a grand time scrubbing the toilet :^)
