Yes, that is what my husband says — that any universal or natural law that is in place is the work of God the same as anything else is the work of God. If He is working for our benefit, then why shouldn’t the law of attraction work?

It’s interesting… My husband and I had this conversation after we watched The Secret. We are both Christian, though he has been for much longer than me (my blog, in fact, is a Christian blog). Initially, as I considered the implications of positive and negative thinking, I was inclined to believe that the angels who I believe answer our prayers might not grasp the concept of negativity (therefore, when we think in the negative, about the things we DON’T want, they don’t understand) and therefore that our prayers (or thoughts) aren’t answered exactly how we might otherwise have anticipated them being answered.

My husband suggested that it isn’t God or the angels who answer these prayers or our thoughts, but that the law of attraction works as a simple universal law or a law of nature.

I know that some Christians and other religious groups don’t like this because they feel that the Law of Attraction or positive affirmations are “witchcraft” or “sorcery.” I guess we just feel differently. We believe that God wants to prosper us and that this is simply our way of allow Him to do that. :)
