Law of Attraction: Loving The Busy Life!
Ever notice how some people thrive on chaos while others are completely overwhelmed by it? And some hit the ground running every day and don’t stop until the wee hours of the night while others get tired just watching them?
How do they do that? And how can you do that too?
First you have to realize that different people prefer different experiences. Some people really love to be busy with all the running around, people and activities. Others prefer a slower, more quieter. Either is a perfectly fine way of living. So if you’re living at a slower pace and are happy with that then just sit back on your porch watching everyone else buzz all around – and smile as you appreciate the gentle sway of the swing :)
But if you’d like to speed things up a bit or have more fun with your already busy life then these tips will help you get there:
- Decide you’re going to love being busy – If you already love the busy life then great, you’ve already done this. But if not then you need to make a decision to change that attitude. Having a wonderful life is in part about being happy with where you are. So if you’re going to be busy then fine – decide to embrace the busyness and love it!
- Set your priorities – People who love being busy know how to prioritize. So yeah, they’re busy but it’s with stuff they want to do. If you are busy with a bunch of other people’s stuff then you’re probably not going to have much fun. So evaluate all the things you’re doing, decide to keep the ones that serve you and let go or delegate the rest.
- Learn to say NO – Really busy people are masters at saying no when they need to. That way they can give more time and attention to the things that are important to them which allows them to get even more done in less time.
- Make fun and relaxation a priority – Even if your idea of fun is running a marathon, take time to include it in your life. This will give you more balance between work and play which will energize you to include more in your life.
- Know your limits - Even the busiest people have limits as to how much they can accomplish. Know and honor those limits and you’ll be able to get more done and feel better about it too. Also, the busier you get the more you’ll be able to handle so your limits will naturally expand.
- Don’t compare yourself with anyone else – Your life is yours and yours alone. There will always be someone who appears to be more super-human than you. Concentrate on what you want and live accordingly and you’ll be happier and find your own rhythm in time.
Oh and finally – do all this only as long as it’s fun and serves your needs. If not then simply re-evaluate and take off in a new direction.
