One of the most profound things I ever learned about manifesting (long before I’d even heard the term “Law of Attraction”) came from one of my early teachers who told me to

Always include grace and ease in your manifestations and your life will flow smoothly and effortlessly.

Well I can be a little stubborn sometimes so I didn’t take that one to heart at first.  And though I learned to manifest the things I wanted, they often arrived with a lot of drama and struggle I could have definitely done without!

Like the time I manifested a new place to live but it went right down to the wire and I was almost sick with worry about it (I was literally packing and not knowing where my stuff was going to be delivered).

Or the time I sat in the emergency room feeling like I was going to die when I had just days before demanded that my body do a major detox (if you’ve ever done this you know how crappy it can make you feel at first and I was totally unprepared for the severity of my symptoms.  That’s why I tell people to do a gentle detox now).

How grace and ease helped me manifest better.

The change came for me when this teacher came back into my life (I hadn’t seen her for several years and she was passing through town) and I was impressed with how beautiful her life had become.  Everything flowed to her…. I mean everything.  It was as if she could speak the words “I’d like a cup of cofffee” and a waiter would appear out of nowhere to deliver it to her.  Truly amazing!

She reminded me of her two favorite words…. grace and ease… and that very day I began adding them ot all my orders to the Universe.

• Uinverse, I want a cup of coffee, delivered right to me with grace and ease for my highest good.
• Universe, create the perfect career for me, filled with grace and ease and for my highest good.
• Universe, I’m ready to move.  Find me the perfect home that meets all my needs, nurtures me, where I’ll be happy for a long time, and do this with grace and ease for my highest good.
• Universe I’m ready for all my relationships to improve, to be filled with grace and ease and to nurture and support me in my journey through life, all for my highest good.

Wow…. just typing these words makes me feel more relaxed :)
