You know…that moment you realize that you’re supposed to take that thought that’s been bouncing around in your head and actually “do something” with it.  If you remember from the FREE Manifesting Kit (or my courses) – this is called the Ah-Ha Moment and it’s a good idea to pay attention to it.

So what’s the difference between a true Ah-Ha Moment where your inner self is trying to get your attention and that mindless stream of thought that flows in and out of your mind all the time?

Here are some tell-tale signs that you need to stand up and take notice:

  1. It lights up. Sound weird?  Well, a message from your inner being feels different than random thoughts because they seem to light up or otherwise stand out a bit.  It’s hard to describe this experience in mere words but if you’ve had it happen you know what I’m talking about.  It’s like that particular thought seems a little brighter and more important somehow.
  2. It nags you. Yes that’s right…it won’t go away.  Like those unfinished projects that sit in the back of your mind nagging at you to get them done, a message from your inner being will keep surfacing again and again until you notice.
  3. It keeps popping up in strange places. So first you have a thought and then someone mentions it and then you see an ad on TV and then there’s that thought again and then you get an e-mail and then someone else mentions it and then there’s a story in the paper about it and then, and then, and then…
  4. It gets louder or carries a sense of urgency. If you miss that first nudge that’s ok…your inner being will just talk a little louder next time. You might get a stronger feeling. And events will happen to lead you in that direction. And people will show up. Your inner being will find different ways to communicate until you finally get the message.

“One fish sandwich,” I say into the speaker.  And a cheery voice promptly comes back, “just to let you know the fish combo meal is on sale right now for about the price of the sandwich.”

Ah-ha….light goes on!  My intuition knew about that sale :)

So as I drove away with my combo meal, I reflected on how many times I’ve gotten that hint, not followed it and then said, “dang, I should have known!”

Moral of the story….when you get the nudge, follow it….even if you almost never order fish :)
