			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Often in Law of Attraction you hear people talk about being more positive.  As opposed to being negative.  While being positive will make you feel better over all and can help bring more of the stuff you want into your life, it&#8217;s not really what the Law of Attraction is all about.</p>
<p><span style="color: #9900cc;"><em><strong>Being positive is actually a symptom &#8211; not a cause of what you are experiencing in life. </strong></em></span></p>
<p>The real cause is your inner feelings and the vibes you&#8217;re sending out to the Universe.  If you are sending out positive vibes then this will be reflected in positive thoughts and words on the outside.  And if you&#8217;re sending out negative vibes your thoughts and words will reflect that too.</p>
<p>This is excellent news because it means that you can now monitor your inner vibes and make changes if necessary to steer you toward your goals.  If you find that your thoughts and words about a certain subject are negative for example, you can examine your inner vibe and see what needs to shift.  And you will know when that shift has taken place because you&#8217;ll begin to feel sunnier, say brighter things and walk a little taller :)</p>
<p>Need a few pointers on how to do this?  These tips will help you get in touch with your inner motivations so you can shift to a more productive state of being:</p>
<ul>
<li><strong><span style="color: #9900cc;">Follow your thoughts</span></strong> &#8211; Instead of trying to change your thoughts, follow them back to their origin.  Approach this with curiosity, looking at your thought from different angles to see what it&#8217;s made of.  When you know why you think what you think things will make much more sense and you&#8217;ll be able to shift into a different place much easier.</li>
<li><strong><span style="color: #9900cc;">Look at physical causes</span></strong> &#8211; We are spiritual beings having a human experience and part of that experience is that we have to deal with our physical bodies.  So if we don&#8217;t get enough sleep or don&#8217;t eat right or work ourselves to the point of exhaustion it will have a negative effect on our energy levels, vibes and thoughts.</li>
<li><strong><span style="color: #9900cc;">Ask yourself how you&#8217;d like to feel instead</span></strong> &#8211; In the midst of negativity stop and ask yourself if this feels good to you and if not then how you&#8217;d rather feel instead.  Believe it or not there are times when it feels good to feel bad.  The thing is to be honest about it.  And if you&#8217;re ok with how you feel then go with it (for now).  If not then set an intent to make a shift and start exploring those underlying causes.</li>
</ul>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Sometimes we find ourselves faced with a situation or thing we don&#8217;t want.  When this happens its easy to get frustrated and wonder why.  Especially if you&#8217;ve been very careful about your thoughts and the vibes you send out.</p>
<p>In Law of Attraction, we know that we manifest things that we are in sync with vibrationally.  So it follows that on some level we must be a vibrational match to the very thing we think we don&#8217;t want&#8230;.or it wouldn&#8217;t be staring us in the face!</p>
<p>A way to unravel the source of these types of manifestations is to do this little exercise:</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #9900cc;"><strong><em>Come up with 5-10 reasons how you<br />
might benefit from the thing you don&#8217;t want.</em></strong></span>
</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">For example, no one wants to get sick but what&#8217;s the benefit of being sick?  A day or two off work or school?  Getting out of doing something else you didn&#8217;t really want to do (think about times you&#8217;ve gotten sick on test day), being taken care of or getting attention, having a excuse for not being at the top of your game?  As you can see, while you may not have specifically chosen to get sick, you may have put one of these other desires out to the Universe.  And it could be that from a Universal point of view getting sick is the most efficient and effective way of delivering what you asked for.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">By the way, these unwanted manifestations can often be avoided simply by paying attention to Universal cues and taking inspired action toward what you are asking for.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This is the time of year I start thinking about spring cleaning.  I throw open the windows, clean the carpets and do other things to get the stale air of winter out and the freshness of spring in.</p>
<p>As I was scrubbing away yesterday it occurred to me that now is also a good time to clear out those mental cobwebs and eliminate old, dusty thought patterns in favor of something a little more fresh and new.</p>
<p>But one of the hardest things about doing that (at least for me) is deciding what needs to go.</p>
<p>So the rule of thumb I use is that anything that makes me heavy, tired, stifled, dusty, old, or just plain yucky needs to be booted right out the door.  That includes things, people, situations, and most importantly attitudes.</p>
<p>Now of course I know I can&#8217;t just boot certain people out of my life on a whim.  And I also know that certain situations may not change on a dime (although I&#8217;ve seen it happen &#8211; never say never :p).  But I do KNOW, without a doubt that I can always change my attitude.  And experience has taught me that once I do that then outer change is always right behind.</p>
<p>This is why I list &#8220;attitudes&#8221; as the most important factor.  I KNOW that attitude is the one thing I can always change and I also know that it&#8217;s one of the fastest way to seeing results in those other areas.</p>
<p>What about you?  Do you have a few cobwebs lurking in the corners of your mind that need a little clearing out?</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Sometimes we are presented with a situation that seems like a crisis.  When this happens our first thought is to &#8220;do something!&#8221;</p>
<p>Unless the building is on fire or a tornado is headed straight for you, you can often just &#8220;let it be.&#8221;</p>
<p>Why would you want to do this?</p>
<p>Usually when a crisis hits, we tense up and go into reaction mode.  This shuts of our brain and kind of causes us to go on auto-pilot, which is great when you&#8217;re in real danger (getting out of that burning building for example).  But most crisis aren&#8217;t really life or death situations, and acting without thinking it through may not get you to the best solution.</p>
<p>If you take time out to just let it be &#8211; to step back and watch things unfold a bit you might see the crisis in a different light, and invariably solutions will present themselves that weren&#8217;t apparent at first.</p>
<p>Allow the Universe (and yourself) a little breathing room.</p>
<p>Let it be and a solution will come&#8230;and it will be a good one!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Here in the US today is Groundhog&#8217;s day.  Legend has it that the groundhog emerges from his burrow and if he sees his shadow there will be 6 more weeks of winter &#8211; if not spring is right around the bend.</p>
<p>Now having never known a groundhog personally, I can&#8217;t tell you if this is absolutely true or not, but it did get me thinking.</p>
<p>Giving credibility to the groundhog is akin to basing your beliefs on the flip of a coin.  Heads life is sunny&#8230;tails there are bleak times ahead.</p>
<p>Think about how many times you do this in life.</p>
<p>Good news can have you skipping down the hall and singing while bad news can completely ruin your day.</p>
<p>So what&#8217;s the reality?  The groundhog experiences what he experiences, but you alone are responsible for your interpretation, and how you allow it to affect you.</p>
<p>Isn&#8217;t it cool we have so much power over our own reality :)</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>If you&#8217;ve known me for any length of time then you know that one of the ways I inspire people is to teach them about the <span style="font-size: medium;"><strong>Law of Attraction</strong></span> (fondly called LOA) and how to incorporate it into their daily lives.  I&#8217;m finding lately that while most people are familiar with the term, they&#8217;re not always sure about what it means exactly.</p>

It&#8217;s called <span style="font-size: medium;"><strong><a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000K8LV1O?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=mtmuse-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325&amp;creativeASIN=B000K8LV1O"  target="blank">The Secret</a></strong></span> and it does an excellent job of introducing people to the LOA and showing them some of the possibilities once you learn how to  use this law in your daily life.</p>
<p>If you&#8217;ve seen <span style="font-size: medium;"><strong><a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000K8LV1O?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=mtmuse-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325&amp;creativeASIN=B000K8LV1O"  target="blank">The Secret</a></strong></span> already then why don&#8217;t you dust off that DVD case and check it out again.  If not then grab some popcorn and a soda and be prepared for an introduction to a way of being that will truly blow your mind!  After watching this move I promise you&#8217;ll never see the world in quite the same way again :-)</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve watched it over and over since it came out (I&#8217;m on my 3rd DVD &#8211; keep wearing them out) and it always inspires me and reminds me of what a powerful creator I am!</p>

<p>It&#8217;s a TUTism (<a href="http://www.tut.com?a_aid=ac682233"  target="_blank">and if you&#8217;re not getting TUT notes you really should!</a>) and what it means is that<em><strong> the things we think about, day in and day out are the things we&#8217;ll eventually experience in our lives</strong></em>.</p>
<p>If you don&#8217;t believe this is true then I challenge you to pay attention for just one day and see how many things happen exactly as you expect them to.  I bet you&#8217;ll be surprised at just how much of life plays out just how you assume it will.  Which is a good thing&#8230;after all while some surprise is good, too much can just be chaotic.</p>
<p>Once you realize this is true though, it just begs the question, &#8220;<strong><em>can I change outcomes by changing my expectation?</em></strong>&#8221;</p>
<p>In my experience, YES YOU CAN!  I do it all the time and it makes my life infinitely easier.  Here are some simple examples of &#8220;expecting on purpose&#8221; and how it plays out in my life:</p>

<p>It would be cool enough if expectations just worked for those little things&#8230;sure makes the day go smoother!  But get this&#8230;they also work for the much bigger things.  I&#8217;ve gotten 3 FREE cars by expecting them (no I didn&#8217;t go around begging&#8230;just decided to expect them and they appeared) and once I got $2,000 I was expecting from a completely unexpected source!!</p>
<p>Over the next couple weeks we&#8217;ll talk more about expectations and how to start making them work better in your life.</p>
<p>For right now pay attention to what experiences you&#8217;re having, and begin to connect the dots with your expectations around them.</p>
